Pandorina are colonial flagellates. The colony measures from 50-250 microns across. Colonies have from 16 to 32 individual cells. The colony is arranged in a tight, small, hollow sphere and is related to the Volvox.
Pandorina make food from sunlight, favor water with high organic content and are readily available from science supply companies.
