Professor Winston Ingram has worked as a scientist, photographer, artist and musician for over fifty years. He is currently retired and resides in London. These images are from his old coins collection of art work. He used several different types of microscopes including a stereo microscope, metallurgical microscope and in a few instances, a polarizing microscope to capture images of silver and copper coins including a selection of the old Irish punt and the US silver dollar.
